What is the difference between analogue and IP CCTV?
IP cameras send digital video over a network, offer higher resolution, can be powered through the same Ethernet cable (PoE) and support remote viewing and analytics. Analogue systems use coaxial cable. MTRX normally designs IP systems for new projects and will advise when reusing existing cabling makes sense.
How many days of CCTV footage can be stored?
It depends on the number of cameras, resolution, compression and the NVR storage fitted. Many businesses plan for 15 to 30 days; sites that need longer retention are given larger storage in the BOQ.
Can I view my CCTV cameras on my phone?
Yes. Remote mobile viewing is part of most MTRX CCTV modules, with access controlled by user accounts.
